I've really been been inspired by my favorite blogger Sandra (ttsandra on youtube) to show some of my old products some love and try to use them up. I have a bad habit of constantly buying new and exciting products when I have perfectly good products that have barely been touched sitting in drawers at home. This will not only help me save money but hopefully allow me to rediscover how much I love some of my old products. I need to stop spending money so carelessly.

So here it goes...the products I have finished:
1. MAC Kumquat lipglass
This was a beautiful orange lip gloss from spring colour forecast collection. Unfortunately it looked much better in the tube than it did on my lips! I am attracted to all things orange. Orange only looks good on me for a short period in summer when I am dark enough to pull it off.
2. LUSH bubblegum lip scrub
My favorite lip scrub is FRESH Brown Sugar Lip Scrub which comes in a 0.6 oz jar for $22.50. The LUSH lip scrub gives you 0.8 oz and cost me only $10. The Fresh scrub is a bit too pricey for my liking and I will only be buying it again if I am able to get it during the Sephora VIB sale or at a discounted price elsewhere. I do like it much better than the LUSH one because of the smell and texture but they both do a relatively good job. I find the Fresh is easier to work with and leaves my lips feeling a bit softer. When I run out of lip scrub I will likely be purchasing this again.
3. Softlips Sweet Moisturizing Lip Balm in Raspberry with SPF 20
This was a decent lip balm. I really liked the raspberry flavour. I will still continue to try different lip balms and chapsticks because I have not yet found my HG.
4. B.Kamins Bio-Maple Lip Balm
This was a sample size that I got from Sephora. I liked it but can no longer find this brand on their website. My guess is that it would have been quite expensive. I'm sure there are things out there that are just as good.
5. Eucerin Aquaphor Skin Protectant
I loved this product. It is so moisturizing and multipurpose. I used it on my heels, feet, hands, elbows, lips and any dry skin I had over the Winter and Spring. I am currently trying out Elizabeth Arden's skin protectant which I am also enjoying so far. One thing that I like about Aquaphor is that is does not have a smell. The Elizabeth Arden has medicinal smell to it which I am not a big fan of. So far I would say that the Aquaphor is a great cheaper alternative.
